The Hershey Bears® are the top farm team of the NHL's Washington Capitals, and are the oldest continually-running franchise in professional hockey. The team is entering it's 87th anniversary for the 2025-2026 season. The Bears are the American Hockey League (AHL) franchise with the most championship wins and finals appearances in league history. They have won 13 AHL Championship Calder Cups and have appeared in 25 finals. The Bears continually rank as one of the top teams in attendance figures in the AHL.
Home Ice – The Bears skate at Giant CenterSM, where the ice remains intact throughout the season as the venue hosts other events like US Figure Skating competitions and Disney on Ice shows. The venue is equipped to change over for non-ice events like concerts, competitive spirit events, and high school and college basketball games.
The Harrisburg Senators (founded in 1987) are the AA affiliate of Major League Baseball’s Washington Nationals. They have enjoyed success not commonly found among minor-league teams by winning 6 Eastern League Championships, and are the only team in Eastern League history to win four consecutive championships which occurred in 1996-1999. Annual attendance is strong with the Senators drawing over 255,000 fans each season. Major-league stars like Bryce Harper, Stephen Strasburg, Ryan Zimmerman, Trea Turner, and Juan Soto all spent time in Harrisburg on their way to The Show.
Home Field – FNB Field is located on City Island in Harrisburg, offering picturesque views of the Susquehanna River and the city skyline. The island is also home to Water Golf, the City Island Railroad, the Harrisburg Beach Club outdoor bar, Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat, Skyline soccer field, beach volleyball courts, a riverside open-air pavilion, and indoor pavilion. Food, drinks, and ice cream are available for purchase from several vendors. Several special events and running races are held at the island throughout the year. Visitors can take advantage of large on-site parking lots or park in the city and use the historic Walnut Street walking bridge to walk to and from events.
The Harrisburg Heat are the region’s professional indoor soccer team operating within the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL). Due to the team's upcoming relocation from the PA Farm Show Complex to Hersheypark Arena, the team will temporarily move from M1 to M2 for the 2026 season because the availability of the venue will only work with the M2 schedule. The Heat will return to the MASL the following season with a full schedule in Hershey.
Home Field – Starting in 2026, the Heat will play inside the +7,200 seat Hersheypark Arena.
