The Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center is home to the world’s largest outdoor consumer show. The Great American Outdoor Show (GAOS) spent 9 days in the facility this month (February 1-9, 2020), utilizing every aspect of the facility’s flexibility and its nearly 1 million square feet of space.

Outdoor specialties had their own sprawling spaces; outfitters in the Main Hall, boating in Northwest, Archery in the Equine Arena, firearms in the Expo Hall. Attendees could browse row after row of outdoor apparel and accessories or stop for demonstrations and seminars from some of the world’s most noted outdoors experts. The New Holland Arena was set up for Dock Dogs before flipping to a full concert venue featuring national acts.

The show attracts vendors and attendees from all over the world. Nearly 200,000 people attend GAOS each year, which translates to an estimated local economic impact of $75 million. The ability to host large-scale indoor events in cold weather seasons is an incredible asset to our region.
