(Harrisburg, PA) The Hershey Harrisburg Region will welcome athletes, teams, spectators, and firemen and women from across Pennsylvania and beyond for a series of significant athletic events taking place over the weekend of May 16–18, 2025.
Among the featured competitions is the Hershey Spring Cycling Weekend, which will bring together bicyclists of all levels for a multi-race event including time trials, circuit races, and road races conducted on routes throughout the greater Hershey area.
The Perfect Game Super25 Pennsylvania Qualifier will also take place, featuring top-tier youth baseball teams competing for advancement to the national Super25 Championship. Hosted at various facilities across the Hershey-Harrisburg area, this event highlights the strength of regional talent and the area's capacity to host elite level youth sports tournaments.
At ABC Lanes North, the Pennsylvania State USBC Women’s Championships will continue this weekend. This state-sanctioned event, which spans several weekends, brings together Pennsylvania’s top female bowlers in singles, doubles, and team competitions. The championship reflects the continued growth and recognition of women’s competitive bowling across the state.
PIAA will also host the Boys Team Tennis Championships at the Hershey Racquet Club. High school teams from across the Commonwealth will compete for state titles in one of the most anticipated events of the PIAA spring calendar.
These events, along with the annual Fire Expo taking place at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg, will generate over $5 million in economic impact to the region, through overnight stays, dining and ancillary spending, while also highlighting the destination’s strong commitment to sports and diverse events.
